Rolled Oats
Rolled oats are easy to prepare and incredibly versatile. Use them to make warm, creamy porridge, soak overnight with milk or yoghurt for a quick breakfast, or add them to baking for extra texture and goodness.
For a simple porridge, combine ½ cup rolled oats with 1 cup milk or water, then cook gently until soft and creamy. Sweeten or flavour as desired with honey, fruit, cinnamon, nuts or seeds.
Rolled oats can also be added to muffins, biscuits, slices, muesli, granola, smoothies and crumble toppings.
